I was ocing all day until we got to the outlet mall. Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and decided to go buy each other something. The reason i didn't oc was I guess people were on edge all day because of 911 and didn't want the attention. I felt pretty good about my decision to cover up this time. What do you think?

I covered up when I went into the crowded Police and Fire Credit Union on Saturday. I just wanted to get in and out without attracting attention.

The outlets is the only place I've ever had a issue open carrying. Long story short. Rent-a-cops kept saying it was illegal that I was Open Carrying. They wanted me to disarm myself and put it in the vehicle and that they were going to call the State Police on me. I simply replied, go ahead, I'll wait here to see what they tell you. After about 10-15 minutes I hear someone over the walkie talkie tell the guy (maybe 60 years old) that he had to let me go and what I was doing wasn't against any laws. Old man said this is bullshit and stormed off.

I open carried there quite often when Carmen owned it, and continue to do so now that Simon owns it. I have never had a problem, though I suspect that's only because Paul Blart hasn't noticed it yet. I go there once every week or so, as my girlfriend's sister manages the Arbys while in college. I get hooked up unbelievably lol.

This is said a little tongue in cheek but seriously, why give the islamofacists the satisfaction of changing your lifestyle and secondly, but NOT open carrying and playcating to the fears of the masses you've just (backhandedly) reinforced their feelings that guns are bad and i feel better because i didn't see a gun on 9/11.

It would have been better just to live your life normal and not bother trying to please these people. Who knows, someone sees you OC'ing, notices your not shooting up the place and killing everyone and maybe they take away the most important part of what they see. This is still American and we are still free.

I wasn't aware that the outlets weren't posted. Have not been there in a few years, but maybe I have to give them another shot. I just always spend more money than I want to there.

While i haven't been to the grove outlets recently, when i have gone I OC and never had a problem. Its usually been during the Christmas season buying gifts and whatnot so it wasnt like there wasnt anyone around to see.

Planning on going there with the Mrs in the next couple of weeks. Glad to hear they are OC friendly!
