I'm surprised no one has mentioned this. Just go to Sig's website and download your manual. Click here.

Re: Where is best website for cleaning Sig Sauer Mosquito 22LR
I found " function check" by error and was glad to find it. It is common sense but not when everything is unfamiliar. I am busy looking up associated terms for guns in general , to gain a broad comprehensive overview for this 22.

Re: Where is best website for cleaning Sig Sauer Mosquito 22LR
if you don't already have it use the link someone else provided and download the owners manual. you can also call SIG and they'll probably send one to you in the mail for free but either way you need to have the owners manual. with that said there's nothing special to cleaning the mosquito. the gun seperates into three main parts. slide, frame and barrel. unless you're a certified gunsmith you don't have to break the mosquito down any further than those three pieces for cleaning. good luck with your mosquito but be aware the mosquito is very finky when it comes to ammo. checkout www.sigforum.com to find out what the best ammo to use for the mosquito.

Re: Where is best website for cleaning Sig Sauer Mosquito 22LR
I hit mine with brake cleaner spray, WD-40, shake the WD-40 out and then apply a lube as WD-40 is not a lubricant. The lube matters little as it merely needs to be present and not inhibit the workings of the gun. There are many lighter lubes that will burn off and "not be there", even in a .22.
Jeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...

I did not know the manuals were free. This would have been the correct place to start. I did find threads and visual ed with utube to be very useful.

I did see that video and it was very good. Also checked out several others that were cleaning different guns for cross reference.
