I really, really want to believe this was what was actually said. But I find it hard to believe that a cop would bad mouth another PD in public. I'm not calling you a liar, though, I just have a hard time believing that a cop would do that.

I can believe it. I've heard various departments talking trash about others many times. Plus the embarrassment that is the Canton PD and the hothead cop, I can understand how they wouldn't want to be made out to be like those guys.

I was taken aback by it as well. However, I have spoken with a few officers, including an Ohio Trooper, who vehemently denounce the actions of the officer in question.
