Is this a real Tea Party Event or one that has been taken over by the GOP?

It's the Tea Party Express that started out in CA & working it's way across the country. It is coming here after a stop in RI earlier today. I got this email from the Tea Party movement, not from a GOP site.

May I suggest that the TEA Party start to raise hell about Project Gun-Walker?

It is a serious issue that needs more exposure an a loud call for prosecutions.

I believe the tea party express has said that they'd support any Republican nominee for president, so yeah, it'll probably be a RINO rally.

The real Tea party would only support someone like the grandfather of it Ron Paul. Ashame it has been hijacked and diluted.

Bad news for you Ron Paul supporters, you are not the only Tea Party members even though I saw some of you at the rally. I know lots of Tea Party members that have been there since day one that do not support Ron Paul. It sounds more like Ron Paul supporters trying to lay claim that the Tea Party is theirs & theirs alone & anyone who disagrees isn't really a Tea Party member. Is that about right ?

No. Ron Paul is the Intellectual Grandfather of the Tea Party movement. Do a little research yourself and see how the movement was started. If they were there since day one then they supported Ron Paul or the were looking at something else. Unfortunately the GOP ( which I was for many years) saw a good thing and people like Glen Beck and Sarah Palin diluted it. Most of the Tea Party Organizations are wolfs in sheeps clothing. Notice I said most so don't get your panties in a bunch. Theres room for everyone.
