Default one of the two mouse guns I bought this summer...

S&W 380 Bodyguard. Team it up with some high performance ammunition and you have a good little package...

    Cool stuff...I like it.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

nice pocket pieces. one for dress and one for roughing it. i have one of the old naa .22lr models, the one that fits in a belt buckle. it is the ultimate pocket gun. the only thing i hate is cleaning the pocket lint out of it. i guess if i was a larger guy i could hide it in my belly button but i would still have the lint issue. in all seriousness enjoy them they are nice. red dog

I usually just throw the Black Widow into a small Blackhawk pocket holster...

What kind of pocket holster are you using for that? I have one as well although I haven't shot it yet. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or give it to my sister and keep the Bodyguard 38. I haven't found too many holsters specifically for it and may just go with a 'roo' I dunno yet.

I actually considered trading in an LCP for the SW bodyguard 380 being that it has real sights and a laser built right in. After getting smoked on another junk 380 pocket gun already (TCP - which broke in my hand in <100 rounds) I decided to do some real reading and searching and found too many reports of it turning into a pumpkin. Having already established my LCP's reliability via hundreds of rounds. I decided to stay put.

But I'd be interested to see how it works out for you.

The thing that keeps me away from the Bodyguard .380 actually IS the laser....and i'm a huge fan of lasers on defensive sidearms.

    So what's the problem?

Because the BG380 comes with a laser, Crimson Trace will probably never make a version of their awesome pressure activated Laserguard for it. IMO the pressure activated laser is far superior to any manual button operated configuration.

Like Asmodeus i'm an LCP man.

I agree with with regard to the CT. I like them a lot better than the laser on the BG. You have to mash the crap out of it to get it to turn on so in a defensive pucker factor situation it just ain't gonna happen. And if they're far enough away to turn the damn thing on they may be too far to justify shooting... We'll see. Baby sister is looking for a purse gun and doesn't want anything I've suggested so far and doesn't want a revolver. Has to have a safety so we'll see. I can almost guarantee that she'll wind up wanting my p2000sk after all of this.

I'll probably wind up with either another LCP or a 238 in the end... Ah well, getting there can be half the fun I suppose.
