Just brought her home today .. What a beauty !!

Been keeping a eye on the classified's for a nice pistol to add to my collection .. And have been hitting the local shops and getting a feel for some of the different 9's and 40's .. Well a member posted a deal I couldn't refuse .. Picked up a real nice Sig P229 in .40 cal .. What a beauty !! .. 2 Extra mag's .. 3 Holsters .. And a set of night sights .. Could not be any happier ..

These Sig's have got a hold on me .. I really enjoy the feel in my hand and have been shooting my P239 and can't shoot it enough .. So when this deal for the P229 came up .. I jumped right on it .. Just ordered my new Hogue finger grips ..

Will report after my next range sessions ..

I was seriously considering that deal too, I ended up buying a mossberg 500 instead. Glad to see it found a new home.

I like the P229 platform also!

I had a P229 in 40/357, nice gun but I never really became a fan of either caliber. Had my 229 up for trade in the classified but hated the idea of getting rid of it. Another member provided me with a win-win proposal. He traded me his P229 in 9mm for my P229 in 40 and we are both happy.
