Re: m92fs
The Beretta 92FS specifically made for the US commercial market does not have a magazine disconnector/safety.
There have been many different versions of the Beretta 92, and many customers in dozens of countries have specified particular wants/needs. Thus, it is possible that some models at some point were fitted with a mag disconnector/safety at the request of a particular customer. Example: A French LE/MIL organization ordered Beretta 92s with a decocker and not a safety. The lever is on the slide, but depressing the lever only decocks the pistol; the lever is spring-loaded to return to horizontal. This version was later officially catalogued by Beretta as the 92G/96G.
