A news video from Toronto about the civil rights gun owners are legally required to surrender in Canada in order to own guns - such as warrantless searches by the police and refusing to answer questions being taken as a sign of suspicion.

I love the first comparison - about how police need a warrant to search the house of a person suspected of owning/producing child pornography, but don't need a warrant to search the house of a gun owner.

And they close out by calling this a civil rights issue.

Sun News network is like the Fox News of Canada. And they've had to fight hard as the monopoly of CBC has fought to keep them off the air and it's been a challenge to get them on various cable and satellite providers.

Lots of Canadians are coming around to see the light that firearms ownership should be a right not a privilege.

They have AR's in Britain but they are straight pull bolts you have to manually cycle each shot.

The canadians do have some interesting stuff as they don't have laws like 922R, but do have mag restrictions and such.

How bad are British ARs? worse than the California legal ARs or the New York legal ARs?
