Guns Stolen
Hello,
This site has been a great place for info and used purchases. Does anyone have a good place for values ? My handguns were stolen from Northern DE so watch out.
Spring 1911 5" , SW 642 , SW 686 6" , Ruger 22/45.
Thanks

Re: Guns Stolen
I always do a google search for the make and model I'm looking for. Most time end up a gun broker and other such sites.

Re: Guns Stolen
Hope you get them back. Does your home owners cover the loss, gun insurance, etc?

Re: Guns Stolen
Make sure that the police have the serial numbers and go around to as many dealers as you can.

Re: Guns Stolen
Try to get the Maufacturer's value rather than street price, they're only gonna offer you a percentage anyways. Print out the pages as you find them . . . to take with you.
Make sure you report them, and get a copy of the report when you can, would suck to have them come knocking on the door to bust you for something you didn't doHonesta Mors Turpi Vita Potior ~ 3%

Re: Guns Stolen
Sorry for your loss. I was burglarized in the late 80's, so I know the pain. If you are an NRA member, their basic gun insurance will be enough to cover one gun. Doubtful that your homeowners will cover any guns, unless you had a specific rider.
Don't know if this will do any good, but it can't do any harm...

Good luck in your recovery efforts.
