PM9 & 642 Holster Advice
All - I also posted this in CC, posted here for more input. Thanks!
__________________________________________________ _________________________________________
I would like your opinions on CC holsters for 2 guns - Kahr PM9 for me and S&W 642 CT for my wife. I have used the search but wanted to see if there was some more up to date information available.
I have ordered 2 Remora holsters for these guns and now want to add another IWB and belt holster for both guns. Since the PM9 is a small gun, I have been looking for something other than a Crossbreeed type holster, looks to me to be too big, but am open to trying one. Would like a tuck able model as well. Don't have any ideas for the 642 at this point.
As far as the belt holster, I would like the smallest. lowest profile model that will safely hold the guns and will conceal with a cover garment in colder weather.
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it

Re: PM9 & 642 Holster Advice
For my 642 I use a Side Guard IWB holster a lot of the time.
Make sure your IWB holster has a reenforced top. This makes reholstering a snap. Also they are much easier to practice your drawing skills with. A non reenforced holster can make it hard to put your gun away after you draw.

Check out Lobo Gun Leather. I have a Model 1 pancake holster which is great. Ray's holsters are high quality and reasonably priced.

Re: PM9 & 642 Holster Advice
I have an MK9 and use a Garrett Silent Thunder iwb and a Raven Concealment Ghost holster. The Ghost is a slide style owb kydex that's very minimalistic. Only downside is that I've heard the wait times at Raven have gotten very long. The Silent Thunder is very compact as well and highly recommended.
Edit: looks like Raven doesn't offer the Ghost model anymore. It's not on the website.

Re: PM9 & 642 Holster Advice
for the PM9 I suggest a Southern Sidekick from Ryan Grizzle.

It is small and lightweight and it is only slightly larger than the PM9 itself. I ordered one with a reinforced mouth and I could not be happier with it. It was well worth the wait.

Re: PM9 & 642 Holster Advice
I just picked up a Don Hume IWB for my 642. It's molded leather, extremely well fitted, and very reasonably priced.
