Default Where can I hunt with an ak-47

Hey guys, I recently bought a romanian wasr ak. I heard that in some places and states this semi-auto rifles are legal to hunt with. Where are these places and/or states? and is a 5 round mag the legal limit?

Here in Texas, it's perfectly legal to hunt with semi automatic rifles. As far as I know, I have never heard of a limit on capacity. I've never seen someone hunt with something larger than a 20-30 round magazine though. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

WV is legal, but think there is a 5rd capacity limit.

I have a question. If your going to hunt with an AK and can only have 5 round capacity, can you use a standard 30 round magazine and fashion a device to limit 5 rounds in that magazine (sort of like the mag limiter in a shotgun - "dowel rod")?

    Hawk,
    I really dont know..

I did find this on their site. Appears a 5rnd isn't necessary. Its been 3-4 years since I hunted down there.

My opinion If I had a deer of a lifetime in front of me the last gun I would want in my hand is an ak.
