Curious, can the folding bayonet be easily removed from those SKS and stored separately?

You can remove it with one threaded bolt. It’s a three piece assembly.

Ever since my brother let me shoot his Sig Sauers, I've had an itch. I've got enough striker guns, but zero DA/SA guns so while I really liked his 365 & 320 I decided I needed something like a 226, 229 or 220.

The 220(10mm) that I like is not in my price range. While not exactly a dime a dozen, I found factory refurbed 229 (.40) for $450 shipped at Buds gunshop. This thing looks brand new. Although most of the reviewers said they got non-railed models, & I was content to get same, mine came railed with a frame marked made in Germany.

God Damn it - I was so close! Had to get this PT-101P. I'm not a huge Taurus fan, but ok with their "Beretta Plant" 92 type and 1911's. Only a couple models of the one with finger grooves. I have the 9mm in stainless so have been looking for the 40 version. This one has surface rust in spots, but some 0000 steel wool and my favorite oxpho blue will take care of that - the price was cheap. When you find the 101 P they are still up there a bit - not my auction
