Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Last few cases have come from The Armory. But I generally have a peek at ammoseek, gun watcher, gun-deals, gunbot, et al before ordering just to make sure nobody has undercut them of late. I may have had a case from SGammo at some point but the armory is cheaper and faster on shipping as they are in Virginia.

I reload with a Dillon 550 but I don't shoot enough 44 to justify that expense of all the dies etc. so I decided to try this out. For less than the price of a box of factory ammo. Anybody here use one of these? How are they?

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Picked up my Taurus CT9-G2 today from my lgs today. Think I'm going to like this baby, especially with the 30 round mags ( in comes with only 2 10 rounders ). Of course while there, he has this nice little M1 Carbine cheap I couldn't resist. It's obviously not a military one, but from what I have seen and been told, this National Ordnance model is a pretty good 1960's repro.. From what the guys tell me and what I have read, National Ordnance made the receiver and the rest of the parts are GI. They knew the guy that owned it and said it was a perfect shooter. Came with 3 GI mags, sling and 50 rounds of ammo and was very reasonably priced I already have a true GI M1 carbine so this will be a nice addition/plinker.

Wish I would've bought a few M-1s 10 years ago when you could by them cheap. In the last 4 years I've noticed that original M-1s at auctions have gone up quite a bit. Last gun auction I attended saw a M-1 in good condition go for just south of 1 grand. And para M-1 prices are just ridiculous.
