Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Just received the Superlative Arms adjustable gas block for my AR10. I also lucked into a Griffin Armament taper mount flash comp. They are out of stock everywhere. I contacted a retailer luckily they had one in stock--so I bought it today . Photo is what my rifle currently looks like. I may update the scope and mount in the future. I currently only shoot 100yds, so there is no rush to do so.

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
I actually picked this up a few weeks ago, just haven't gotten around to posting it.
My aunt needed to off-load it to fund a Remington 870 20ga purchase. Originally it was her brother's(my uncle) that he would lend out to his nieces and nephews. Once the majority of us kids got older and got our own guns he gave it to my aunt, who has had it for the past 20 years or so. She wanted it to stay in the family, so she offered it to me first. I said yes before even agreeing on a price or seeing it again.
It is a Revelation 350A 16ga(sold at Western Auto, probably made by Savage/Stevens). Not worth much dollar-wise, but worth more for sentimental reasons to me for the fact that a lot of us "kids" used it growing up. Came with nearly 2 full boxes of bird shot and <10 16ga slugs(16ga slugs alone are hard to find).
At most it may be worth $75, probably less though. Still covered in closet dust and could use a good oiling and small rust spots cleaned up.
And yes, I do need a new office chair..Last edited by knight0334; December 12th, 2017 at 11:41 AM.
