Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
This is my first attempt at gun photography, so it might be a little crude. Here's a pic of what I bought last week at the Valley Forge Gun Show: a duotone Bersa Thunder .380.

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
picked up a really nice savage 93r17 fv for a great price. I cannot get over the groups of this rimfire. 1.5" at 150 yards and hitting 4" steel plates at 225.
The stock SUCKS... but,
I ordered a new stock from boys and the appropriate hardware to mount it from savage. hoping to have the project done by the weekend.
I will post pics as soon as possible. The Beauty of the 2nd Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Just picked it up yesterday. It's an H&R Ultra Slug Hunter, 12 gauge rifled heavy barrel. Set it up with Leupold rings and a Nikon Prostaff Shotgun Hunter with the BDC 200 reticle. It's compensated for 50, 100, 150, 175, and 200 yards.
Sorry about the crappy picture, I only had a small window of opportunity to bring it into the house while my wife was in the shower.Last edited by bac0nfat; September 30th, 2011 at 08:53 AM.
