Recently acquired a Black Chinese SKS
Decided last night to buy Shernic bullpup kit (from a vendor who has them in stock, not direct) .. can't wait for it to get here and install it..

I got an M1888 Trapdoor Springfield with the rod bayonet at Oaks. Stock needed some work. Looked like someone had tried to varnish it and quit halfway through. He also tried drilling two holes for a sling swivel. Fixed the stock and filled the holes. Back in proper shape.

I found out today that I won this on a Saturday online auction. I placed a low bid last week that must have been registered as an absentee type bid. I got this at a good price; however, I expect the shipping charges to be outrageous. The auction uses a 3rd party shipper. Since the shipper is no an FFL01, this hand gun will have to ship either Fed Ex or UPS air from TX to PA. Kind of a bittersweet win. I mainly collect Finnish rifles, but like Imperial era Russian firearms too...well, I pretty much like all firearms. But, I've been wanting to spend my money on some modern firearms.

Day off and visit to gun shop = winning. Got a very nice deal on a Dan Wesson - I believe model 15? Also had to grab some nice Russian 7.62x54r for fun.

I liked my Dan Wesson because I could reassemble it with different barrels and grips. A .357 erector set.

Picked up a few things to make some small upgrades to the Glock 43.

1st firearm related purchase in almost 2 years.

2x Vickers Tactical +2 base pads & springs.
Ranger proof flat faced trigger.
Talon grips for the base pads.

I also have a 5.5lb OEM connector on the way to replace the original 8lb.
