Love a Saturday $5 bargain bin shop - lol. Almost full tray of 44 mag hollow points, two sets of swivels, and a nice old leather sling. Then couldn't resist the wood box of Winchester WWII Victory Series 45 acp ( not in the $5 bin though ). Passed on a Sig P220 9mm and a DPMS AR-10 both mint and great prices - I do have some will power !!!!

Won the auction, haven't paid for it yet. Given that it's got a $1000 stock, an $800 scope, $400 in mags, a butt load of other goodies, plus it's an LRB M1A, I'm happy.

Purchased from a member here. 1,000yd gun built on a Mosin Nagant receiver. (I rarely shoot over 200 yds, but it's nice to know the equipment will do the job.) McGowan barrel, Timney trigger, BlueGrass Tactical SF stock, Rock Solid Industry bits and pieces, Vortex Viper 6.5-20X50.

I would have paid his asking price for the rifle alone, but then he threw in everything else in the picture--the hardcase, a bunch of cleaning gear, the remaining handloads he worked up for this rifle, a couple hundred pieces of Lapua brass, several hundred bullets, a pound of Reloder 15, and a Rock Crusher press with two sets of dies for the 7.62x54R (RCBS and Forster, including the micrometer seater).

To top it off, the seller even drove 2 hours to meet me halfway to make the deal. Nice guy to talk to, too. Very knowledgeable and willing to share info.

This is a new caliber for me, so I'm looking forward to learning it, but this is really for my youngest son. It will be his intro to handloading and precision shooting. I figure by the time he's reached the limits of what this can do, he'll have a good basic education in the sport.

No1 MKIII* Enfield made by NRF in 1918. Won this in the beginning of June. Finally received it today. Needs a magazine and a screw for the nose piece. Should go well with the lonely Enfield sling I have in my parts bin.

My wife always says " another of those really heavy packages just came"

I'm not sure how to get the pic from my phone. I can copy the link but would like to just paste the pic.

Finally broke down and got a Mossberg 500 Flex from Tanners in Bucks County. The price was too good to say no and it fits my needs for a first shotgun.
