I had one of the first carbon fiber mountain bikes, a Y-22 from the 90's. Loved it.

Paid about $1800 in 1995, about the equivalent of $3,023 in today's dollars. Don't know if I would spend that much again on a bike.

This Smith and Wesson 19-3 represents my first gun purchase from GunBroker. Last week I hit every shop from Lancaster to Gettysburg in search of a 1960s or 70s era Smith and Wesson 357 or 44. There was absolutely nothing so I turned to the internet. Apparently all the good stuff is in Florida! My first venture into online gun sales was a positive one. A whole new can of worms has just been opened.

I guess I’ll go to for two for posts. I got a call from one of my local shops that one just came in on consignment I might be interested in. I hightailed it over there and picked up this immaculate 586-1. No worry about the rubber grips since I have an extra set of targets that just needs refinished.
