Stopped by the shop today and got a 3 gun bundle deal cheap ! Had a Taurus View with flexi see through right side - just had to have it. Not many out there for sale. Not sure how many they made before going to the "non" view version Came with everything, and owner bought it new from the shop and said he never fired it. Neat Uberti pistol with stock. If it wasn't black powder it would be a sbr and need tax stamp obviously. Quality made and great detail including engraving like an original Colt. Then the little cimarron with 22 and 22 mag barrels. Gotta admit the tiny holster made me buy it - lol.

I wonder how long it would be before that clear plate on the Taurus View becomes opaque from scratches and cleaning solvents? Did you ever see the headlamp lenses on today's cars after a few seasons? Cool novelty, but not very practical. Like the Uberti with the stock. Was looking at a few of those single action revolvers from Cimmaron the last time I was at Oaks.

Great finds! What's the barrel length on the Taurus? Looks shorter than my S&W.
Love the black powder setup. I have an 1851 Navy. Love the looks of those old revolvers.

I would have to agree. Probably why they stopped the plexi and went with regular side plate quickly. For me just the novelty .
