Sounds like you got a great deal and it’s a beauty of a rifle for sure.

Came with original sale paperwork of 09/05/80, and transfer paperwork to the owner who had it after that. The original buyers name was "Chick".
Its owner had passed and the family didn't want it in the house, so I offered to buy it instead (A few bucks plus paying transfer). It was going to head to the local PD and I figured I would take better care of it and I have an addiction to mouse guns.

Not sure how often you plan to shoot it, but use caution on some 54R ammo. Mainly the heavy stuff, 182gr and up. If you do want to shoot that ammo, check for the carrier contacting the rear trunion under recoil. The gun can beat itself to death with heavy recoiling ammo. Not saying it cant be done, but be away of how/what/where damage takes place. Plenty of info on the web searching for "heavy ball with a PSL" type of search.

I have wouldn't feed any of the surplus heavy ball through any of the semi auto 54R guns except for maybe the Veper, but even that would be a very limited diet.

Bought a really nice Harrington & Richardson 999 Sportsman in its original box from ScotsGuards today at the Oaks Gun Show.

    Revolver dates to 1972.

I'm trying to buy a cheap stripped lower today, well, or tomorrow. Lol
    Maybe some ammo too!

My ebay ambi charging handle showed up today as well. Did an early review here somewhere haha

P.s. if you have a lower for less than $50 taking up precious safe space, please message me lol
