Thanks for info. If the weather holds off, I’m taking it out this Saturday.

If anyone needs Ballester-Molina grips - the ones CDNN had for $9.99 ( what I paid, now they are $14.99 ) they are really nice. They are real grips according to what they are saying, Argentine made. I'm not sure if I'm going to swap out the grips on my two - but they can be hard to come by and never at this price

Went to the range this last weekend to sight in an AR-10 build, and there was enough 45 Colt brass laying on the ground that I couldn't not buy a set of dies. I only have a derringer right now, so it didn't generate brass fast enough or use enough ammo to justify, but with the extra free brass - hey, why not?

But that's my sign that the ammo crush has gone from "easing" to gone. This is the first time I've seen brass range brass other than .22 since 2008.

Got a nice deal from a great PAFOA member on a Taurus 917c today. I picked up a 917cs a year or so ago and really liked it. They stopped importing them several years ago, and I just liked the look - and it shoots great. I may go stainless steel grips for this one - not sure yet. I'm not a huge Taurus fan but I'm ok with their "Beretta" plant 92's, their 1911's and many revolvers. Here's the 917c I just picked up and my 917cs right below

Bought this while in Texas over Christmas...I regretfully had to leave it there but I'll see it again soon. Until then it's Glocks and 1911s.
