Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
A few weeks ago I picked up a Colt 6920 when I was going to pick up a K-Frame. So earlier today I picked up a K-Frame and filled that hole in my collection. It's a S&W Model 64-1 that I got at Surplus City. Lots of use on this one. Backstrap marked 'APD 005'. Read around and it might be Austin PD, but I'd have to letter it to be sure. It came with rubber Uncle Mikes grips, but I had these '70s vintage bakelite things lying around and they look better.

Ran up to Hatfield to pick up this old warhorse from Alderfers. A Berthier 07/15 was on my want list for years, but this one has Polish markings on it to make it the icing on the cake.

A tough pill to swallow, but threw down $1100 on a Honda EU 2200i inverter generator

Got it for my new camper and a trip to Florida this summer, some of the state parks Ill be at are not equipped with electric and we will be Boondocking. Not going to Florida with two women in June/July without A/C running in the Trailer, and we will be parking at Bass Pro /Cabelas /Walmart lots overnight on the drive down and back. Now Im building a nice enclosure for the back bumper to house it it in
Honda is the gold standard in this market, I figured buy once, cry once. not into hearing a sub standard (Harbor Freight or eqiv.) sputter out at 2:00 AM on a 98 degree 99% humidity night in central Florida...The wife agreed
