New acquisition. MAB Modèle D, 7.65mm, 4” barrel. Estimating 1957 production date. The ‘D’ prefix on the serial number means it was issued to the French customs service. It is effectively an improved clone of the FN 1910/22. The importer added the fugly rear sight supposedly to earn ATF points. Luckily Numrich still has the original fixed sight, which will be here Saturday.

No photos, but I bought everyone in the family a new cell phone. 3 iPhone 8+ and 2 Samsung S9 phones. I cringe to think what firearm I could have bought with that kind of money.........

A Saturday at the gun shop beats yard sales for sure I'm always very cautious considering a Taurus - but I've always been ok with their revolvers, and the 92 ( Berretta Plant made ) - but nothing in striker fired This 941 22 magnum was in mint shape, possibly unfired, or fired very little and of course a great price ! And the bargain bin had some goodies too. Daughters Mace was getting old, so nice purse style with uv marker to replace her old one.

Not that I should have, but I just bought a No1 Enfield. Really wanted an RIC Carbine that was on auction but it went higher than I wanted to pay. Think I bid on the No1 just to win something. I've been wanting to get another one since I sold the two I owned a few years ago. Not sure if I'm gonna keep it--I'll see when it gets here.

Chinese commercial tokarev converted to .38 super and given a really questionable stippling job. And no, I didn't pay $209 for it.

What’s that conversion entail? Just a drop in barrel? I have one of those and can switch between 9 and x25 with a barrel swap. 9mm feeds from the 7.62 mags just fine.

From what I've read a new barrel, a new recoil spring, a new barrel bushing because the .38 barrel is a larger diameter and you need to remove some material off of the trigger group.

Picked up this '53 vintage Colt Official Police a few days ago. Good bore, locks up tight.

Fast on the heels of my MAB acquisition, another long sought after gun became available, so I spent my recliner chair money yet again on a foolish gun.

Remington Model 51 in .32ACP, 10/1926 manufacture date. Some rash on the right side but overall extremely nice. Of the 64,800+ made, only 10,200 were in .32ACP. This one will stay pretty much a safe queen because spare parts are made from unobtanium. I sent the last one I purchased back to its seller because of a missing recoil spring sleeve and flakey grip fasteners. This one is in much better mechanical condition.
