Hate to admit that a Taurus has been on my bucket list - but I fell in love with this model a while back and hesitated to buy it - then found out they are very hard to find. Have been hunting for a while, then suddenly last night, boom, one comes up for sale "new old stock" everything in tact, never fired or molested. This 917 CS ( compact stainless ) stopped being imported years ago, made in the Beretta plant after Taurus bought it. Came in Blued too I believe. Like a Beretta Centurion but slide is a slight bit smaller. Nice finish, finger grooves in grip, and 17 round capacity! Just ordered some nice rosewood grips from my old friend in Thailand and she will be complete. Just loved the style, look and hopefully the feel of her
