I know, being responsible Having said that, picking up a Marlin 35 Remington lever action and my skeletonized Anderson AR Thursday - and the AR furniture I just ordered will be here Thursday as well. Wanted another AR with wood furniture ( purist look away ! ). Picked up a vintage Viet Nam Colt flash hider and a carry handle too .....Ok, I'm done for a bit ...........

Where did you get the wood stock kit.. what brand or make ?

Yeah I found them just before you posted.. Love the look... Not the price at the moment .... But maybe down the road... How heavy are they???

Not sure about the Boyds and I don't have this set yet - but I have a Windham AR with wood furniture and it is very heavy!

The nice thing with that is the matching grip. Most other wood sets I've seen only offer the stock and handguard.

When you get the stock set post an update please with your opinion of it.
I've been looking at their site thinking about getting a set for the SP1 but just didn't get around to it yet.

Brownells has laminate for $190.
I'm on my tablet so I don't know what the discount price is, probably close to $150-160.

Didn't know if I'd like the quality of those. Not much more for the real wood ones, and I think they look nicer. Heavier for sure, but nicer looking imo.
