Meet a guy this evening to sell him a handgun, the FFL had this brand new magnum wheelgun he just got in, I have been resisting buying anything new but I couldn't help myself....

WOW! I bought one back when they were like $45 and thought that was a lot. Of course 30 years ago it was.

Crazy, huh? I had been using a cheap set of hollow ground screwdrivers for gun work, hoping to find an affordable alternative but I just wasn't happy with the sets I was finding. Then I broke 3 tips just putting scope rings on my kid's 22 and I said screw it, I'm checking out those Brownell's sets again. Don't you know, every single one of their sets was sold out. I looked around some more and found nothing, went back to Brownell's a couple days later on a whim and they were back. I snatched them up out of pure frustration and now I'm working on forgetting how much I paid for them.

Just topped off my ammo supply and bought something new to shoot at.

I have one of those little buggers with the folding clip case. Say what you will about small caliber but I certainly would not like to get hit with a couple rounds of 22 mag ! Nice buy.

Well of course you would have one!

Yeah, the price was right so why not add something that can be carried anywhere, and I mean anywhere.
With the price I paid, I have already been looking at the folding grips.

I grabbed a box of Hornady FTX and will run a few rounds through it today.


(On a side note, for anyone wondering how well a wet tumbler with stainless pins works, those casings are range pick up brass that I ran through my home made wet tumbler)
