Never thought much of Keltec but always had a soft spot for the KSG.

Was going back and forth on a new 1911 9mm and finally decided on the one I have been eyeing for a while - the Iver Johnson Thrasher Dlx in High Polished Blue. A beautiful gun and very well made. Now to clean up the oils and packing gunk and off to the range soon.

I'm with you on not being a Kel-Tec fan at all - but I too love that shotgun. Congrats !

How does the trigger feel thus far?

Heavy. Dry fire only, but we all noticed at the shop that it was crisp and broke nice but definitely heavy. I'm ok with it though so far.

Waiting for a range report. I've been eyeing the hawk in polished blue for a while. Looks pretty nice, the only negative I've heard on any of the IJ 1911's is the trigger too.

Great looking KSG. The deck, on the other hand, looks like mine! When did you stop by? I didn't hear the skirl of the pipes - must have been in the basement working up a new load....
