Nice. I picked one of the originals up a few years back - some kind of military contract cancel. I've just never fell in love with it. The sights are very nice - easy to acquire target for sure. Have only shot it once or twice, and although I always clean my guns after every trip to the range, I was too lazy to figure out all the tricks to break down this one. I'm sure once you do it once or twice it's easy, but reading the directions was like "huh" - made by same guy that created glock, why didn't he make takedown as easy Enjoy!

I picked up a gen3 Steyr M9-A1 with 5 mags in trade. Great sights & trigger right out of the box, couldn't be happier.

Thanks to Emptymag's deals thread, I ordered 4 ammo cans from Sportsman's Guide. I ordered late, but still got the deal. The ammo can's arrived today.

3 of the 4 arrived as expected, a few spots of rust and includes "authentic" sand.



The other one, well it didn't survive FedEx so well:





The tape on the bottom of the box had been ripped open (can't necessarily blame FedEx for this), but otherwise the cardboard was in okay shape. I've sent an email via their website to Sportsman's Guide to see what they can do.

Unrelated to EM's thread or the ammo cans; last week these arrived, I never got to post them (Merry Christmas to me!!). Nothing special, just run of the mill things I wanted to have on-hand. I ordered them through Guns Inc, which is local to me (not always the cheapest prices, but I don't mind supporting the local guy).
