What the hell, I was tryin' to give Hodgie some rep for his comment about "Looks like a clean kill" and I get a pop-up that says, "You must spread some rep around before you can give more to Hodgie."
EFF that, here's your rep Hodgie!
I guess I better pretend to like everybody else now, what is this spreading the rep shit, a participation medal?

Sharp eye.
Yes, its thumb safety is different. I did not noticed that until I got home. Not sure what the deal is. But Gun is brand new.
If you look at Colt Website, Delta Elite is listed with picture, which is rocking standard Government style. But if you look at the Combat Elite, it has the same thumb safety as I have on my Delta.
I'm guessing with all the shenanigans happening at the Colt, they could be having an issue keeping up with out sourced parts(which I'm sure many things on this gun are), as not many parts people would like to sell you things on credit when your company is going through the chapter 11. So they may have resulted to grabbed whatever parts that were available?
Or they simply updated the design, and are too lazy to fix the web site?
While thumb safety itself is nicely made(with just right amount of extended lever and all, feel of it engage/disengage is standard Colt. No tactile feel to it at all! It does not click off , and difficult to engage....Audemus jura nostra defendere
