The holster cost more than the gun. I got a good deal.

They have some great looking work. Some of the pictures are a bit comical. Sitting Bull looks like he should have avoided the White Man cheeseburgers. A Kabar mounted on the holster across your back where you can't get to the knife without removing the entire rig? Rose Hugh's mares leg tied off below her knee so she can't bend her leg?

On a serious note, doesn't the hook holding the saddle ring dig into the receiver?

Do you mean into the holster? I had not even given it a thought. I suppose it could. There is a second ranch hand on its way. this one has the loop and stock wrapped in leather.
