Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Been looking at Winchester model 1907's and found one that needed a little tlc and owner accepted my offer I know I was holding off after buying appliances, but they are not being delivered until tomorrow so I'm still good
A little love to the metal parts and maybe some work on the furniture - should be a fun project on this neat old gun.

I'd love to see a picture of your collection, but my monitor's only 26 inches.
Do you offer guided tours?

lol. that plunger in front of the forward stock is what cocks the gun once mag is put in - then it's ready to go semi auto with a 5 or 10 round mag. I found an after market 10 rounder at Numeric so that's coming too. I think some work on the metal and it will come out just fine. The imperfections and finish loss are pretty even so it should clean up nice. I've heard this one referred to as "first assault rifles". appears to have been popular with gangsters and law enforcement a few decades ago. the more i read up on it the more interesting it gets. with the price and availability of ammo, it won't be shot a lot, just every now and then for fun.

Please pardon the lo-rez photo, I haven't bought a new camera in years, but I did just buy a new (to me) Ruger SR40c. So to celebrate, I decided to do a Ruger family album, the new KSR40c is at 2 o'clock. The LCP/CTC twins in the center, cousin LC9 at 9 o'clock, brother SR9c at 11 o'clock and Papa KSR45 at 3 o'clock.
