My last suppressor was over a year wait and I said it would be my last.

Just picked this up at my FFL this evening. I wanted an authentic cop gun, and I found this one on Gunbroker. An NYPD Model 10 and a very serviceable S&W holster that's definitely seen plenty of action on the street. The gun is in excellent condition except for the fabulous holster wear on the muzzle, and the Pachmayr grips fit my hand perfectly. I'm not much into revolvers, but I'm loving this gun! And it was dirt cheap.

Just picked up my brand new Taurus PT-809 . . . .

I traded my full size 9mm EAA Tanfoglio Witness P for it. With the extra Witness magazines and a holster, the trade came out almost even.

I've been wanting this pistol for a long time. Of all the pistols I have handled and fired, this is the most comfortable in my hand and the easiest for me to manipulate and fire. How I will do on paper will have to wait until I get all of the packing grease off of it.

I think so, anxious to run some rounds through. Almost bought a Kahr (twice, minutes away) but kept coming back to the Shield.
