No, sir. End of the threads to the back of the buffer tube >26 inches = "firearm" and not a pistol. The ATF figures you can no longer conceal it and it's no longer a pistol. I'll look up the info....

That's a lot of legal loop-holing to try and make a cop understand. Especially when he finds an AR pistol with a VFG on a traffic stop. Not sure it's worth the risk.

Drove back from New England today so had to stop at Cabela's. Pretty uneventful, but did pick up retinal site - thought $29.99 was pretty good - not sure what I'll do with it yet, but as always, it's not about "need" it's always about "want" And the best cold blue hands down, Oxpho Blue - makes a worn gun look new in no time - love it for all my C&R finds !



And no trip to New England would be complete without scoring some Narragansett to bring home ( along the lines of PBR if you are not familiar )

good buys all around, but in my opinion, any battery powered sight in a blister pack and not a box isn't worth the money. I learned that the hard way.
