Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
I don't feel any improvement in the trigger to my well used M&P9 (I'm hoping more rounds will help), the improved back straps are better, grip-wise, but I'm still be breaking out the wood burner this weekend, and the back sight will need to be changed. It's sharp and angled exactly the wrong way if I need to rack the slide on my belt or where ever. Overall, I like it and will be setting this up for more of a "fun gun" and probably not a primary piece…….. Magwell, Apex goodies, etc…...

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Not exactly firearm purchases but here they are:
(Rifles purchased well over a year ago, added for scale.)
I have been smoking Hookah's (Or "Hoofah" as my father pronounces it) for the last 5 years, it's something I like to do once a month to unwind. My good friend that introduced me to them had to sell this one because he has been out of work for awhile, we had a lot of good times smoking this one so I decided to buy it off him so it could stay with us. It's my first Hookah and it was hand made in Syria, since the place that makes it no longer exist it should be worth more and more as time passes. According to my friend it was manufactured in the 80's and I got it off him for $100.
A picture of my Hookah in my study filled with some good Cantaloupe tobacco ready to go, much better than those overpriced Hookah bars with their weak tobacco and dirty Hookah's.
He also gave me a knife. I am not familiar with the "Appalachian Trail" brand of knifes but it has some weight to it, feels solid and has a sharp blade.
Since this guys birthday is coming up and he collects Zippo's I got him something special:
It's a great and solid lighter, one of the few butane lighters made in the USA. The only thing I don't like about it is I believe the button sticks a bit because when I take my finger off it it takes the flame 2-3 seconds to die (You can hear the fuel pumping out).
I just had a birthday and got $300 so I will probably be adding another firearm to my collection before the end of November.Last edited by LifeInPa; October 30th, 2013 at 01:14 AM.

Finally got the 8-3/8" Taurus Raging Bull Model 454 I've had my eyes on since 1998 when I was 17 or so and saw it at Gander Mountain. Also got 450 rounds of 62gr 5.56x45MM NATO from Walmart.
