Yeah, I am aware. But, the other day I was at the range and the RO came out to me and we were talking at length for some time. It started raining. After he left, I shot some more, but then it really started coming down. I wiped down all my guns that got rained on and put in range bag. I pulled out my $900 Sig 1911 Extreme today and THERE WAS RUST!!! Aaaaargh! I thought I gave them all a good wipedown, but not enough. Shite. I was thinking of having it cerakoted anyway as the nitron finish is not as sturdy as advertised...scratches easily.
