Be that as it may, when you need some more ammo, and they're the only ones selling what do you do? I just stopped in there and picked up two 500 round bricks of CCI .22lr. $30 a brick. Only place I could find that still had any sort of .22lr in bulk for a reasonable price.

Have you thought about why they're the only ones that have that ammo in available "at a reasonable price"? Could it be because anyone that actually has principles refuses to shop there?

Then you can keep your principles and I will be more than happy to buy up your share of the ammo ;D

On a more serious note, ammo sales are a tiny sliver of Dick's business, and even then the margins are pretty small. I didn't buy anything else while I was there, and I don't normally shop at Dick's otherwise so the financial support I have given them with my purchase is nil.

Activism is much more effective when pressure is put on the people actually making policy. Which is something I have been and continue to do with letters, phone calls, and rally participation.

oh yeah, and I got a real nice shiny new Simmons 22 mag rifle scope for my Marlin xt22.

Made a quick trip out tonight and came home with (2) 17rd Ruger SR9 mags, 500 rds of 9mm and 100 rds of 7.62x39 HP. Amazingly none at gouged prices!
