Well if it's not your cup of tea, or you'd rather have an AT-22 shoot me a message

Canadian outfit from Manitoba is selling surplus Galil bipods with extra bits to allow them to attach onto Picatinny rails or the bayonet lug on a vz.58. $90 shipped vs $250 for an original Czech bipod.

I was able to order 1000 rnds directly from Sig earlier in the week for .36/rnd so you may want to check them out. Also Federal was selling directly for 18.95/50 from their Site but seemed to have less availability.

    Good luck

I see people on Arms List selling whatever ammo they have sitting around trying to get a buck. Herters and Blazer listed for $40 a box, and they make sure to say its FIRM lol.

Whole worlds gone crazy for 9mm. I should have kept my .40

I looked around on Sigs site last night actually, remembering your post about it earlier, and couldnt find anything about ordering "pre-order" style, but I did find Federals site and they had their American Eagle available with a 2 week wait time, and ended up ordering 1000rds of that.

Wanted to get some 5.56 too, but their prices on that are just as much, or higher than, what you can find on an auction style site.

But now Im thinking, maybe its time to give a .40 another shot lol
At this time I wish I had an unloved caliber. A friend has two .40's and he was surprised at ammo prices even after I told him about ammoseek.com. But .40's price increase is a lot less than the 100% on 9mm.

There's a balance. Unloved = no economy of scale, but it also means lower demand. I think 40 is the only 'cheap', unloved caliber right now. 32ACP is hella expensive.

Not that I care but I only see .40 S&W in SD rounds from the big sellers and it’s about .80 a round which I don’t consider cheap.

.32 acp is looking pretty affordable for ball ammo. They have had it in stock over a week now.

    HP ammo for $2 more.

I just agreed to purchase this 1951 Star Modelo B. It was part of an early batch of pistols manufactured for the Landespolizei Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony police). A total of around 9500 pistols were delivered between 1951 and 1954. The state of Hesse had a second contract with Star.

I sold off my small Star pistol collection about two years ago along with my copy of Antaris’ book. If anyone out there has a copy and could help me with more information regarding the background on this pistol I’d appreciate it. I also need to find a correct holster and second magazine.

Looks to be about 90%, all numbers matching except the magazine.

ETA: on a hunch I replied to a two-year old thread selling a holster — seller still had it! It’s Hesse not Lower Saxony, but maybe I can find someone to trade. It’s on its way.

I think I might win for today, I went to PA's saddest flea marker in Clearfield and got a pair of Zeiss binocs for $2

They're usable but definitely need to be cleaned inside

I also got (from the same guy no less) the basis for a high class gun buggy
