Just picked up this Taurus PT111 yesterday. Feels really good in hand. I love the size. I can't wait until I get it out to the range so I can carry it. Reallly digging it so far.

Added a pic with the 1911 to show the comparision in size.

Great for cc. Not the best at the range, but I bought mine used hundreds of rounds through it not a single hiccup.

I like carrying it because if something happens no biggie.

Only reason I probably won't much anymore is that the new pt111 I just picked up feels great IWB and was cheap too.

It is very hard to go wrong with Galco in my experience. Spend the money, buy something nice, never worry about it again.

I learned when I tried wearing, sitting, driving with many different iwb
holsters that less holster the better for me. Regardless of what I'm
carrying my full size 1911, the s&w or my pt111. I really don't like
the bulk of most iwb holsters.

A friend of mine had a 8 dollar Ace holster he got from cheaper than dirt
and swore by it. I decided to give it a shot at 8 bucks and never looked
back. It's just a bigger bonus that all 3 of my pistols
fit one holster.

I know plenty of people swear by the crossbreeds and similar set ups,
but for me it doesn't work.

Just put an M1A "loaded" with a walnut stock on layaway on buds. $1512 shipped and I couldnt pass that up. Unfortunately it looks like I may have to sell one of my prized garands to come up with the rest of the money
