    Thanks. The light bar is on its on own switch and can be turned on independent of anything else, including truck not running. Just have to remember to turn them off separately but they’re so damn bright I couldn’t imagine forgetting them.

    For best effect they should be on their own relay which is fed from the main battery with a fused input. Sounds like that is what you have...

    The bar is on its own harness and relay according to what the installer told me, never asked about fuse but assume it has one. I don’t do electrical project besides hanging lights and/or replacing sockets and switches so I let the pros do it.

    The reason I went to Cabela's is because they could handle the 3 $100 Visa gift cards I needed to use before the end of the month.

    In PA, auxiliary front lights are only to be used with high beams. If they function otherwise it fails State Inspection. It's the opposite of fog lamps, that are only supposed to function with your low beams.

    Bought this from a fellow forum member Friday. I'd been looking for one of these shorter barreled hunter model MK3s for awhile but I'd never found one locally until now. Kind of a late Christmas present haha.
