I've seen a few generics that were well made and seemed worth it if you were going to use it as a grab and go special ocasion vest and not a high speed operator.

I went to a gun auction today and came home with an H&R Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor 45-70 Officer model. I remember seeing this in a store when I was a kid, tried to convince my dad to buy it but no such luck. They had 2 of them at the auction today, the 2nd one came home with me.

I've got three new toys in the mail...should be here by the end of the week, will post pics when they arrive. All mosins, of course...

1925 SCW (Spanish Civil War) Tula M91 dragoon rifle
1936 Finn capture Tula PE sniper rifle (without scope )
1938 Finn capture Tula PEM sniper rifle (also without scope )

Even though the snipers are scopeless, they're still major scores, seeing as the Finns only captured a total of 280 snipers in both the Winter War of '39-'40 (216 rifles captured) and Continuation War of '41-'44 (64 rifles captured) combined...
