Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
I guess since others are posting cars, I will too.
The back seats in my Mercedes do not fold down and it irritates the crap out of me since it is a PITA to carry long rifles in the trunk with the seats up. I picked up a second vehicle to use as a winter beater/range vehicle. It is a BMW X3 M Sport. Back seats fold down nice and flat. Plenty of room now!x3.jpg

For some reason I have always wanted one of these. For $200 I couldn't resist.

I propose a rule!
If you're going to post something that is not a firearm or directly related to firearms, then you have to say what firearm or firearm related item you COULD have spent the same amount of money on.
For example, I bought that Chevy bucket truck, and if I was spending the money on a firearm I would have purchased a new DSA 7.62x39 belt fed RPD, one of my bucket list firearms. In America arms are free merchandise such that anyone who has the capital may make their houses into armories and their gardens into parks of artillery. - Ira Allen, 1796

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
I did a little research and asked around. It turns out the one I bought was made in 1905 and is not safe for smokeless powder. Took about ten minutes to clean the cylinders and barrel. It seems like it would be a fully functional revolver, I just don't reload or know where I could find light loads for it.
