Lol I don't have time for those shenanigans. Tore into it last night and found one spark plug smashed and some coolant in the bottom of the oil I couldn't see on the dip stick. Looks like she overheated and dropped a valve. I got the motor most of the way out last night and I'm going to look at a replacement TBI 454 in a 93 K2500 tonight. Fun stuff.

Snagged that truck with replacement motor last night. Check out what I found in the locked up motor. I had to fish these parts out so I could rotate the motor and unbolt the torque converter. Looks like it starved for oil, spun a bearing, exploded a piston and took out the cylinder wall. The rod actually came off the crank with one bolt tight and intact lol.

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
I bought another vintage tool.
This is a Craftsman Shaper from the 1960's. Picked it up, plus a lot of shaper heads for $75. Runs great, just needs cleaned up and a new table built. The only real flaw on it is a broken piece where the motor mount slid into the base. I'm not worried about it because I'm not going to remount the motor that way. It's missing the hold down brackets, but I found those on Ebay.Rules are written in the stone,
