Picked up a Ruger SR1911 chambered in 10mm last night. Put a hundred through it...not flawlessly though. Slide wouldn't lock back after last round until after the first 50, and had a couple of failure to feeds. Other than that, shot well, tight groups with UMC ball. This is my first series 70 1911, really nice trigger out of the box. I'll be listing a Glock 20 in the classifieds later today. PM me if interested.

I picked up my new Makarov at the FFL yesterday. After a solid inspection and cleaning I ordered some wood grips for it. Only my Dan Wesson 15 has wood grips right now and I have upwards of 15 handguns now. I think a Makarov and a good 357 make a reliable and formidable pair.

Recent pick-up. DDR four-cell AK pouch in Strichtarn with cleaning kit, stripper clips and shoe, and four like-new bake magazines. Note three items are still wrapped.

I've seen good reviews on these Astra Police Trades. And at $219 - why not. Only a few left at Robertson's.

Nice, what kind of condition are they in? I saw those earlier this week. I already have a cz on layaway there, but if they're really nice I might just have to grab one before they're gone.
