But today, I purchased 7 bags of concrete mix after getting 10 bags on Sat to do this.
Not even marginally gun related. And I hurt now. 60 more bags to go. Damn.
17 80 lb bags of sakrete gave me this by poofy27, on FlickrOpinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
kudos and good job, looks clean.
hope you're not mixing it by hand too... might've been cheaper to grab a yard+/- of sand, a yard+/- of stone and just bought bags of portland. at least if you have a pickup. or have the truck come, measure it out and order the quantity +/- ensure everything is ready to pour when they arrive. in and out, get a buddy to help wheel it if needed. no stopping. truck has minutes, not hours.
thats the only downside. There is no way to make it out alive...

You can get the mini concrete trucks in a lot of places now.
Ordering a mini truck is much cheaper than buying bags, and much easier obviously.
With the mini trucks you can order some very small pours at cost efficient prices, it has really changed how people are doing small concrete jobs. How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?

Trying to keep this thread related.
I purchased these plates (2 of these and 2 6" rounds) a couple years ago and cannot find out who I got them from nor can I find them on the numerous ammo suppliers I generally deal with.

I'm looking for some help here to try to locate a couple more. They have a nice gong ring to them even with pistol rounds.
I have found some similar but not this size.
This plate is 7 1/2 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches high with and additional 4inches in the center.
Putting 2 plates together (hanging separately) is a bit larger than COM / head.
Back to concrete. I bought more.
Our area doesn't have the mini trucks. We used to have a company with some 4 yard trucks that delivered small loads (1 yd min). I kicked around getting bulk sand, cement, gravel but decided to go bags at about $5 per.
The excercise does me good as I'm getting soft with age and lack of hard work so I'm good doing it.
I posted some pics but got no offers to help. Ha.
