What did you buy yourself today - PART 1

Surplus City had a A3 Colt Carbine for $575. The prior owners electro-penciled 'STPD #3' onto the lower. Plenty of little finish blemishes, so I might rattle can this sucker. They also removed the regular sling swivels and installed a one-point sling attachment plate, so I attached a two-point surplus sling with paracord. Had to fight my cat the same time I was trying to attach it.

Any idea which STPD it was?

Got myself one of these original Bushmaster Dissipators...always wanted one. Now I have two. Bought this one earlier this week and got it for a song. Second was even less and in just as good shape.

Happy camper...let see what happens next week.

I spent a bit too much on this baby a few days ago. Just installed the new gas rings for the bolt too.

I was bidding on one of these from an outfit in FL...the rifle was in pristine condition...it went for well over 2500.00 and multiple bidders...it was beautiful. Curious what you got that one for...

I had a pair of unfired SP1's, I sold one last year for $1200 and tried selling the other later in the year or trading it off and couldn't get a single offer or bite.
Looks like I need to go to GunBroker!
