I've owned a North American Arms Guardian .32 ACP for several years and often carry it. I've been interested in getting its bigger brother, and finally one came around. It is an NAA Guardian in .32 NAA. It uses the large Guardian frame which measures 4.8x3.7x1, holds six rounds, hammer-fired DAO. This cartridge was developed by CorBon for NAA and is a .380 case necked to accomodate a .32 bullet, providing ballistic performance equivalent to .380 using the traditional CorBon approach of smaller bullets and extra powder. CorBon discontinued production, NAA is searching for a new source, but Hornady developed a Critical Defense round for it, and that's what I'll be shooting for now. If anybody stumbles onto any CorBon FMJ collecting dust somewhere, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
