Basic soft carry bag for the .22LR Remington I dragged home from the family farm.

Amazing how the neighbors don't bat an eye at me loading up the car with 3-4 bags in which are clearly guns, versus looking at me funny and shooing their children inside if I walk out of the garage with an actual gun in hand.

My purchases lately have been similarly exciting. Sorry.

Sig/CZ/S&W/Beretta Never heard of it, cool combo.

Noveske 16" lightweight stainless match barrel, battle comp compensator, BCM 15" KMR, BCM FDE bolt carrier group, BCM ambi safety selector, BCM trigger guard, BCM stock kit, Seekins bolt catch, High velocity arms ambi mag release, cmmg lower parts springs and pins, Geissele S3G trigger, magpul grip, magpul back up sights, FDE dust cover, etc. I have a stripped upper and lower, both aero precision at Xringshooters.

Most of the parts will go off for FDE cerekote. Once coated, will assemble into a relatively lightweight but accurate AR that I can keep as my truck gun. Will have a 1-4 mil/mil optic on it as well. Somewhere between my SBR and SPR.

I miss having a lathe and mill but didn't want to have big machines taking up lots of garage space or deal with 3 phase power again so I'm trying something smaller. Picked up this old Atlas 618 6" lathe last weekend with the table, vintage lamp, milling attachment, and a box of tooling, gears, and other parts for $300. I think I did alright on the price. Hopefully it can handle small gunsmithing projects and maybe some 80% lower finishing with the milling attachment.

That thing in the middle looks like a Tim Burton designed dog.

    What's that?

I'm no machinist. I had two machining classes in engineering school that I loved and then I was lucky to store and get to use a big lathe and CNC mill for a friend in my garage until they had to go. So I know enough to be dangerous but I find myself lacking in terminology and knowing the best way to do something lol.

Edit: is that a reference to the Nightmare Before Christmas? haha!
