What did you buy yourself today - PART 1

Finally received my Cross Breed Supertuck Deluxe in the mail for my G26:

I've opted for the horse hide with the combat cut. I'm very satisfied with the quality, except one of the clips isn't flush with itself.

The holster has come out with the gun while drawing on more than one occasion while practicing because the belt will sometimes slip right under the clip. I'm thinking they should redesign the clips to use reverse J-Clips, similar to how the HighNoon holster clips are made.

I know most people here are very satisfied with their CB holsters which is why I bought mine. Still debating whether I should return it.

Thanks for posting those pictures. I hate to see what the Cowhide looks like. The Horsehide doesn't look as good as I thought it would. The quality looks nowhere near the quality that was put into my COMP-TAC MTAC Minotaur.

Not really. The horsehide is stiff and seems very durable, but not too stiff where it would be uncomfortable. The only complaint I have with this holster is the clips.

Crossbreed offers j clips for their holster. You could get those and swap them instead of returning it. Mine has never pulled out during a draw

I thought about buying those, but according to CB's website they don't support the weight of the firearm as well as the original clips.

Their J-clips go under the belt while the HighNoon holster clips go over the belt and hook under it which supports the weight better and won't come out during drawing. Maybe I'll write them a letter to see if I can get custom clips made

The side that sits against your body would bug the crap out of me. Itchy. The Comp TAC was nice leather on both sides. Smooth.
