Dove Hunting?

Hi all. Anyone go dove hunting? I am new to the state. Curious where people go.

I checked out state game lands 234 which is pretty close to me. I went 2 weeks ago and didn't see any birds flying. That was before the storm and now it's cooled down a bit at night which I think might be a bad thing. I used to go in AZ and if it cooled down the birds would leave.

I figured maybe someone got back and had a report where birds might be.

I was thinking of going on Sat.

I drive around Lycoming, Wyoming, and Lucrene counties and see quite a few doves. They won't vacate an area until a good frost hits. Once one does, they head south.

Yeah, & it doesn't necessarily mean you'll get any either,they sure can be frustrating at times
