Ordered a new .22!

I recently got back into shooting, picked up a Kahr PM9 to shoot and carry. I love the gun, but even 9mm ammo gets pricey (but a lot cheaper than feeding my .45). So I was on the hunt for a .22 to add to my small but growing gun collection. I fell in love with a particular Ruger Mark III, Hunter TALO edition. Well after some good news at work, I decided to order the gun It should be at the shop mid/late this week. I'll post some photos when I get it. I am really excited to shoot it!!

Awesome. It will take a while to learn to reassemble, but once you see a good tutorial on youtube and "get it" it'll be a breeze!

While you are waiting, allow me to stimulate your visual senses with a few pics of my Ruger Mark III custom. This was inspired by the same Talo Edition which you just ordered. The grip manufacturer is the same, I just ordered them myself. I've also done a bit of work to this Mark III to make it a real target model.

That is a fantastic looking grip! Where did you get it? The gun shop called today and it's already in (next day). The only bummer is that I can't get to the gun shop for a few days yet!!

Totally bummed. I went to pick up the gun last evening. The guy said to look it over and make sure I was totally happy with it. Well as it goes it had a nick on the barrel. Small but there. He was happy enough to order me another one. Maybe I was nit picking but I would have obsessed about it. Oh well at least it wasn't confrontational and they'll get me another one.
